This Privacy Policy explains how Weightpace.com (“Weightpace,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use the Weightpace website, mobile applications, programs, events, content, products, services, and related features, collectively referred to as the “Services.”
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Services.
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Weightpace, which Services you use, the permissions you provide, and the features available at the time.
We may collect information directly from you, automatically through your device or use of the Services, from third-party services you connect to Weightpace, and from service providers or business partners.
We may collect account and profile information, including your name, username, email address, password, profile photograph, age or date of birth, location, preferences, goals, and other information you choose to provide.
We may collect activity and fitness information you enter, including external load, distance, time, estimated or recorded steps, pace, Weightpace, Weightpace Rate, program participation, completed activities, personal records, goals, notes, equipment, and related performance information.
We may collect event information, including registrations, participant details, emergency contact information, age verification, requested accommodations, event results, waiver acceptance, photographs, videos, and other information associated with your participation in a virtual or in-person event.
We may collect transaction information when you make a purchase, begin a subscription, register for an event, or request a refund. This may include billing name, billing address, purchase history, subscription status, transaction identifiers, and limited payment information.
Complete payment-card information may be collected and processed directly by third-party payment providers rather than Weightpace.
We may collect communications you send to us, including support requests, survey responses, feedback, contest entries, promotional submissions, and messages sent through the Services.
We may collect User Content that you choose to upload or share, including profile information, photographs, videos, comments, activity results, routes, reviews, messages, program progress, and community posts.
With your permission, the Services may collect precise or approximate location information to record distance, routes, pace, activity duration, event participation, and related activity measurements.
Location information may be collected while you actively use the Services and, when enabled by you, while the Services operate in the background.
We may collect motion, fitness, and sensor information from your device, wearable device, or connected service. This may include step counts, movement, speed, elevation, distance, workout information, heart rate, calories, and other fitness or activity information that you choose to connect or make available.
You may be able to control access to location, motion, fitness, Bluetooth, camera, photographs, notifications, and other device features through your device settings. Restricting a permission may prevent certain features from functioning properly.
Weightpace is not intended to collect medical records or provide medical care. However, certain activity, fitness, biometric, or wellness information may be considered health-related or sensitive personal information under applicable law.
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect information about your device and activity.
This information may include your Internet Protocol address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, mobile carrier, device model, application version, language, time zone, general location, referring pages, pages viewed, features used, links selected, session duration, crash reports, diagnostics, performance data, and the dates and times you access the Services.
We may also collect information about how you interact with emails and other communications, including whether a message was delivered, opened, or selected.
We and our service providers may use cookies, software development kits, pixels, local storage, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, maintain sessions, understand usage, measure performance, prevent fraud, improve functionality, and support marketing.
Some technologies are necessary for the Services to function. Others may be used for analytics, personalization, or advertising where permitted by law.

You may be able to connect Weightpace to third-party services, devices, or platforms, including wearable devices, health and fitness platforms, mapping services, social networks, application stores, and payment providers.
When you connect a third-party service, we may receive information that you authorize that service to provide. The information received depends on your settings, the third party’s policies, and the permissions you grant.
This information may include profile details, activity information, workouts, steps, distance, routes, location, heart rate, device information, photographs, contacts, social connections, or other authorized data.
You may be able to disconnect a third-party service through your Weightpace account settings or the settings of the third-party service. Disconnecting a service may not delete information previously received by Weightpace.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We may use information to provide, operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services.
This includes creating and managing accounts, recording activities, calculating Weightpace and Weightpace Rate, estimating steps and distance, displaying activity history, tracking program progress, maintaining personal records, providing goals, generating rankings, operating leaderboards, and delivering other requested features.
We may use information to process purchases, subscriptions, registrations, refunds, promotions, awards, and event participation.
We may use information to communicate with you about your account, activities, purchases, subscriptions, programs, events, security, support requests, changes to the Services, and this Privacy Policy.
We may use information to send newsletters, product announcements, offers, promotions, surveys, and other marketing communications where permitted by law. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message.
We may use information to understand how users interact with Weightpace, perform analytics, research usage patterns, test features, troubleshoot problems, improve measurement accuracy, develop new products, and improve user experience.
We may use information to personalize content, recommendations, programs, goals, offers, and other experiences.
We may use information to verify activities, administer competitions, enforce program and event rules, identify inaccurate or manipulated results, prevent cheating, and protect the integrity of rankings and records.
We may use information to protect users, Weightpace, and others; detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited conduct; enforce our Terms & Conditions; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify information so that it cannot reasonably be linked to you and use that information for research, analytics, business operations, service development, reports, marketing, and other lawful purposes.
Weightpace may use automated systems to calculate activity measurements, estimate steps and distance, identify records, recommend programs or goals, detect unusual activity, moderate content, and identify potentially inaccurate, fraudulent, or manipulated results.
Automated calculations may be affected by device limitations, sensor accuracy, user entries, signal availability, terrain, and other factors.
Where required by law, you may have rights concerning decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
We may disclose information to vendors, contractors, consultants, and service providers that perform services for Weightpace. These providers may support hosting, cloud storage, analytics, customer service, communications, email delivery, mapping, activity tracking, payments, subscriptions, security, fraud prevention, marketing, event operations, and other business functions.
We may disclose information to third-party platforms and integrations when you direct us to connect, publish, export, or share information with those services.
We may disclose information to event organizers, timing providers, venues, sponsors, photographers, emergency personnel, volunteers, insurers, and other event partners when reasonably necessary to organize or operate an event, provide participant services, respond to an emergency, verify results, or comply with event requirements.
Information you choose to make public may be visible to other users or the public. This may include your username, profile photograph, activity results, Weightpace totals, records, rankings, program progress, posts, comments, photographs, routes, and other information you choose to share.
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required to comply with law, regulation, court order, subpoena, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, misuse, security threats, violations of our terms, dangerous conduct, harm to another person, or threats to the rights, property, or safety of Weightpace, our users, or others.
We may disclose information as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, corporate transaction, or transfer of all or part of our business. Information may be reviewed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
We may disclose information for other purposes with your direction or consent.
Weightpace does not sell personal information for money.
We may use analytics, marketing, social-media, or advertising technologies that disclose certain identifiers, device data, internet activity, or usage information to third parties. Depending on the law that applies to you, some of these activities may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use of personal information for targeted advertising, even when no money is exchanged.
Where required, we will provide a way to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under 16 for targeted advertising without the authorization required by applicable law.
We may collect activity, fitness, location, and related information to provide the features you request.
We will use health- and fitness-related information for purposes such as recording activities, calculating metrics, displaying progress, personalizing programs, operating events, improving the Services, maintaining security, and complying with legal obligations.
We will not use information obtained through health-platform integrations for advertising or disclose it to advertising platforms when prohibited by the applicable platform’s rules or applicable law.
Weightpace is generally not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse, and information you provide to Weightpace may not be protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, commonly known as HIPAA.
Other federal or state privacy and breach-notification laws may apply to certain health- and fitness-related information.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, complete transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
The retention period may depend on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, your relationship with Weightpace, legal requirements, and operational needs.
Some information may remain in backups or archived systems for a limited period after deletion. We may also retain aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.
No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, used, or disclosed without authorization.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account or personal information has been compromised.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of information, obtain a portable copy of information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of targeted advertising, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or appeal our decision regarding a privacy request.
You may update certain information through your account settings. You may also control device permissions through your mobile device settings and disconnect certain third-party integrations through Weightpace or the applicable third-party platform.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link provided in the message. You may continue to receive transactional, security, event, purchase, subscription, and account-related communications.

Where permitted, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may require proof that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf and may ask you to verify your identity directly.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.
These rights may include the ability to know or confirm whether we process personal information, access personal information, correct inaccuracies, delete personal information, obtain a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising, opt out of certain profiling, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a minor’s use of the Services, determining whether the Services and any related physical activity are appropriate, and reviewing any information the minor submits or shares.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Specific events, purchases, subscriptions, programs, competitions, or other features may be limited to users who are 18 or older.
Certain features may allow information to be visible to other users or the public.
Depending on your settings and the feature used, public information may include your username, profile photograph, activity results, Weightpace totals, Weightpace Rate, records, program progress, rankings, awards, badges, event results, comments, photographs, and other content you choose to share.
Information made public may be viewed, copied, saved, shared, or used by others outside Weightpace’s control. You should not publicly share information that you want to keep private.
We may offer privacy controls for certain features, but some event results, competition results, or public submissions may remain publicly available when disclosed before registration or participation.
Weightpace and its event partners may take photographs, video, audio recordings, or other media at events.
Where permitted and disclosed through event registration, posted notices, or event-specific terms, this media may be used to document, operate, report on, or promote Weightpace, its events, programs, participants, partners, and community.
Additional consent or release terms may apply to specific events.
The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, platforms, products, and services.
Weightpace does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected directly by third parties.
You should review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
Weightpace is based in the United States.
If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where Weightpace or its service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your country.
Where required, we will use appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a uniform standard for responding to these signals, the Services may not respond to traditional Do Not Track settings.
Where required by applicable law, we may process legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, technology, laws, and our practices change. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date.
We may provide additional notice of material changes through the website, application, email, or another appropriate method.
Your continued use of the Services after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that the revised policy will apply to your subsequent use of the Services.
